Welcome to Holy Cross School

“The Holy Cross Difference” is not a line that we just say; it is a standard that sets us apart from everyone else, honoring our glorious past while focusing on a promising future. Holy Cross has been a New Orleans tradition since 1849, when the Congregation of Holy Cross established roots in our beloved city. Holy Cross School continues that legacy by anchoring itself in New Orleans and the Holy Cross Catholic faith. Our mission is to raise boys to be men – men who lead in faith, their families, and their communities—pillars of the Holy Cross Man. We invite you to come experience the Holy Cross Difference!

Joshua Adams

Holy Cross School is not just a building, a school, or a story. Holy Cross is a special and unique experience!

I am proud I attended a school where teachers do more than teach; they change lives. My education and growth into the person I am today were always a priority.

I am grateful for the friends that I made along the way, and I am proud to have graduated with men who have such a Christian and Brotherly Love for each other. Our friendships grew into bonds and those bonds into brotherhoods.

I am indebted to this institution and my experience here, and for forming me into the man that I am now.

I immediately felt at home at Holy Cross School, surrounded by brotherhood, joy, and support. Excellence was a benchmark for teaching my brothers and me to dedicate ourselves to our studies, training, and prayer. I owe all my successes and express my gratitude to my family, teachers, administrators, and mentors who have challenged me and have contributed to my growth as a student and as a disciple of Christ.
