Holy Cross Cheer
Holy Cross Cheer plays an active role on campus in building students' morale through their enthusiasm and love for Holy Cross School. As the most visible team at Holy Cross School, we promote school spirit by leading Holy Cross Educators, students, families, alumni, and other fans at events.
The cheerleaders compete at the regional, state, and national levels. In addition to their competitions, they perform at football, basketball, soccer, wrestling, and other varsity sporting events. Each summer, members attend specialty camp at a nearby university.
Our co-ed competitive team is selected through a tryout process that takes place each Spring. The female members are selected from area all-girl Catholic High Schools. All Holy Cross students in grades 8-12 are eligible to participate by signing up at any time during the year.

Tiny Tiger Cheerleading Clinic and Performance
Come experience Holy Cross Cheer! Become a Tiny Tiger and learn from the team in a clinic designed to help your child build and learn new skills. Then put those skills into action! Your Tiny Tiger will run out with the team and cheer on the sidelines at the Holy Cross vs. Chalmette High School Varsity Football game.
The cost is $65 and is open to boys and girls in grades PreK4-7th. Registrants will receive a T-shirt to wear during their performance.
Clinic:
Tuesday, October 13, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Holy Cross School, 5500 Paris Avenue
Performance:
Friday, October 16, 6:30 p.m. (Kickoff at 7:00 p.m.)
Tad Gormley Stadium, City Park
Drop-off on the sideline at Tad Gormley. Tiny Tigers will participate in the team run-out and cheer the first half of the game, with dismissal to parents/guardians at halftime.
