Fine Arts
Fine Arts allows you to create something wonderful: YOU! From Pre-K through 12th grade, the Holy Cross School Fine Arts program promotes the development of the whole person. This creative program is vital to Holy Cross School because it fosters innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while promoting emotional intelligence, self-expression, and social development in our students. It also provides a space for students to explore new ideas, gain confidence, and build resilience, ultimately preparing them for academic, professional, and personal success in a complex world.
Our founder, Blessed Basil Moreau, CSC, said, “We will not develop the mind at the expense of the heart.” He knew that to be fully educated meant having a working knowledge of the creative arts. Holy Cross School continues to achieve Father Moreau’s vision. Our students are invited to create, visualize, write, build, perform, and enjoy the journey of self-discovery.
Our Primary School students experience movement, imaginative play, story creation, art projects, singing, and scene performance. They are encouraged to explore various creative activities that help them discover their true talents.
Moving into Middle and High School brings the opportunity to participate in classes such as art, singing, and band, as well as audition for theatrical productions.
